Arriba!

Well, it's here: our new blog! Mom said it was too much trouble to keep separate blogs, so here we are. Sparky demanded replacement of the pink, frilly template. I (Izzy) lost my very first battle already. We've been trying out some different ones to see what sticks. Kind of like trying on clothes, which I detest. If anyone knows of a template with jalapenos on it please point us in the right direction because that is what we'd really like. 'Cause we're two hot chihuahuas, ya know.

Nothing much else to report. As soon as we have any news, we'll report right back here.

Thank you for visiting our new blog! Please add us as a friend and bookmark us. Mucho gracias!

I Refuse

You can't really tell from these photos, but I'm shivering my tail off; however, I refuse to wear that ghastly pink costume the humans keep threatening me with. If I even get a whiff of that hideous garment, I do what any self-respecting canine would do: run and hide!

Flattery or Humiliation?

More degradation at the hands of the humans. I suppose it's a small price to pay for the cushy lifestyle I lead.

Tasteless

Can you believe this garish outfit my humans are insisting I wear? My mom became worried about my shivering and discovered this ghastly costume in a drawer. She bought it last year and it still had the store tags on it. I expressed my displeasure then and I certainly don't approve now. This loathsome garment is not befitting of a princess chihuahua like me. A hoodie? Puh-lease! Completely and utterly distasteful. I tried to close my eyes in an effort to block out the hideousness of it all, but when I opened them, the misshapen, repugnant garment was still there.

I was able to get one arm out, and I would have succeeded in escaping from the entire outfit if mom hadn't noticed. Dad was able to put my arm back in, but not before I nipped his finger but good. I wasn't a delicate little flower about it, either. It really hurt his finger so he knew I meant business. It cost me a treat later, but it was well worth it.

I hope this cold weather goes away soon because I cannot imagine the further humiliation I might be forced to endure because of it.
